Attentions

1. When replacing new rods, it is not recommended to replace them one by one. Because the resistance value of the new and old rods does not match, it is generally recommended to replace them as a whole or at least one way.

2. After the new rod has been used for a period of time, if individual silicon carbide rods are found to be burned out, one can be replaced with an old rod (spare rod).

3. Frequently observe whether the readings of the ammeter, voltmeter and thermometer are normal; whether the clamps at the cold end are loose, oxidized black or sparked; whether the silicon carbide rod is broken; whether the heating part of the silicon carbide rod is uniformly red and hot.
